Since i was a child, I’ve immersed myself in some truly unforgettable stories and worlds, from the gritty, surreal landscapes of Dorohedoro to the dark, medieval fantasy of Berserk, the adventurous high-seas epic of One Piece, and the stunning, emotional storytelling of Arcane. Each of these series has left its own unique mark on me, sparking my imagination and deepening my love for anime, as well as fueling my passion for cosplay.
Recently, I have been attending events like DoKomi at the Berlin Messe. There’s something special about being in a space filled with fans, all expressing their love for these worlds through incredible costumes, art, and community. Walking around DoKomi, surrounded by people dressed as their favorite characters, is a thrill. It’s like stepping into a living, breathing anime world where the lines between fiction and reality blur.
As I continue this journey, I’m excited to dive into new series across every genre, exploring the unique art styles, storytelling methods, and worlds that anime has to offer. From classic mecha to slice-of-life, psychological thrillers to fantasy adventures, I love discovering the vast diversity of anime. Each genre brings something fresh, and each art style offers a new way of experiencing these stories. It’s inspiring to see how different creators bring their visions to life, and I’m eager to experience as many perspectives and styles as I can. Each series, no matter the genre, feels like an invitation to a whole new world, one I can’t wait to explore, both as a fan and as a cosplayer.
